Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The IQAC was proactively established at SIMS in the year 2013. The prime objective of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action plan for the overall improvement and refinement of SIMS.
Vision
To promote the quality ethos as a primary concern of SIMS through the quality-enhancing and sustaining initiatives and to be the global front runners.
Objective
- Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial units;
- Adoption of relevant and quality academic and research programmes;
- Ensuring equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of the society;
- Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning;
- Ensuring a credible assessment and evaluation process;
- Ensuring the proper allocation, adequacy and maintenance of support structure and services;
- Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
