The Physical Education department at SIMS, under the leadership of Dr. P M Harish, is fully committed to providing students with abundant opportunities to explore and showcase their physical abilities across a diverse range of indoor and outdoor sports and games. SIMS College students have consistently represented Bangalore University with distinction, securing top positions and earning recognition in numerous state, national, international, and university-level competitions.

Special fitness camps are organized for students aspiring for government jobs that require physical fitness. The department also guides students to pursue higher studies in physical education. Impressively, a significant number of SIMS students have not only participated but also triumphed in intercollegiate, university, state, national, and international competitions. Several students have been selected to represent various games at prestigious national and international forums.
